Luke’s Sesame Sauce
Ingredients
1.5 cup soy sauce (gluten free, if desired)
8 tablespoons water
3-4 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
2 cups brown sugar (Luke likes it sweet! Add less, if desired)
2 tablespoon rice vinegar
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
0-2 tablespoons cornstarch (if needed)
Directions
- Stir together the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger over medium heat.
- All flavors to blend and sauce to thicken. Sauce will thicken as it cooks and then cools. Add cornstarch, if needed.
- Add sesame seeds.
