Homemade Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 (15oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

  • 1 (15oz) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained

  • 2/3 cup tahini

  • 4 tablespoons water (more if needed)

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4-6 cloves of garlic, peeled

  • juice of 1.5-2 lemons

  • 2.5 teaspoons sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • … any other herbs or spices you like!

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients with a blender (I prefer an inversion blender) until smooth.
  • Taste and add more salt, garlic, lemon, or paprika as necessary.
