Homemade Hummus
Ingredients
1 (15oz) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1 (15oz) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
2/3 cup tahini
4 tablespoons water (more if needed)
4 tablespoons olive oil
4-6 cloves of garlic, peeled
juice of 1.5-2 lemons
2.5 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
… any other herbs or spices you like!
Directions
- Combine all ingredients with a blender (I prefer an inversion blender) until smooth.
- Taste and add more salt, garlic, lemon, or paprika as necessary.
