Grilled Caesar Salad

Ingredients

  • shrimp, sautéed

  • dried parsley

  • dried oregano

  • romaine lettuce bulbs (entire bunch, not with the leaves already pulled apart)

  • homemade caesar dressing (Recipe)

  • parmesan cheese, sliced

  • white anchovies

  • Croutons (preferably homemade)

Directions

  • Sauté the shrimp with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, dried parsley, and dried oregano.
  • Slice romaine lettuce bulbs in half lengthwise, keeping each half intact
  • Grill romaine lettuce bulb on open flame for about 1-1.5 minutes
  • Top grilled romaine with dressing, parmesan cheese, white anchovies, shrimp and croutons.
