Grilled Caesar Salad
Ingredients
shrimp, sautéed
dried parsley
dried oregano
romaine lettuce bulbs (entire bunch, not with the leaves already pulled apart)
homemade caesar dressing (Recipe)
parmesan cheese, sliced
white anchovies
Croutons (preferably homemade)
Directions
- Sauté the shrimp with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, dried parsley, and dried oregano.
- Slice romaine lettuce bulbs in half lengthwise, keeping each half intact
- Grill romaine lettuce bulb on open flame for about 1-1.5 minutes
- Top grilled romaine with dressing, parmesan cheese, white anchovies, shrimp and croutons.
