Aunt Sharon’s Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes
3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
- Topping
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F degrees
- Put sweet potatoes on a cookie sheet (don’t wrap them).
- Bake until soft and peeling comes right off and you can mash up with a fork.
- Reduce oven to 350F degrees.
- Mix mashed potatoes with rest of the ingredients.
- Spread evenly onto a greased 9 x 13 glass dish.
- Bake 350 degrees for about 35 – 40 minutes.
